So I called the local Mazda dealership and they told me the dash would be covered under the extended warranty 7year/unlimited miles as long as it passes their inspection. They said it would take a day and a half to replace it. If your not sure whether your car is covered just ask them to check it and they will pull it up using your vin number. Now I get a shinny new dash to look at!!!

Dang, a day and a half. I took mine in and they did it in 2 hours. I was impressed.
