| Not Ranked : 0 score I will be doing this on my Mazda 2 to cover up some paint damage from a flying re-tread. I will get some pictures posted up when I get it finished. I am using the 3m DI-Noc material. It cost about $160 for a 48x60 inch piece. -Derrick |

That is the kind of material I was looking at. I am almost leaning towards doing it myself because the material can be had for about 100 bucks... Derrick you should make a how to on this! | |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Get a carbon fiber hood and color match it to your car... It'll look stock but at least you shed off a couple pounds ![]() And do not paint the hood scoop, you might as well start buying appearance mods from autozone if you head in that direction

| Not Ranked : 0 score I did my silver genpu roof in matte black. I think it looks good and I get a lot of compliments. That 3m Dinoc is expensive material, but the regular 3m vinyl is much cheaper. You should be able to get it done for less than $300. Shit, you could probably have your roof painted for that much. I'll take a pic later today and put it up.

| Not Ranked : 0 score $300 seems to be around the average rate for roof vinyl. Make sure you see samples of car wraps they've done. You don;t want to spend that money and have it turn out like doo doo especially around the 4 corners of the roof |

| Neutral : +1 score They are near Orlando FL, don't quote me because I do not work for them but When i was visiting them they said due to many variables it would be 1,500 - 5000... just depends on what you want wrapped and with which vinyl type... If your in the area, give them a call. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Good places will cost $3k-$5k for a fully wrapped vehicle. These places will take pieces like door handles, side mirrors, etc off and wrap them. The places that charge the $1k amount use crappy outdoor vinyl instead of automotive vinyl. Automotive vinyl will let the paint breathe as the cheaper outdoor stuff won't. I have gloss black on my roof, but since I have an MGM it's VERY subtle so you can;t really tell in pictures This is the only picture I could find with a decent shot of the roof.

They use breathable, no bubble vinyl. They also have metallic colors which is a little harder to deal with. also as you can see from the pics i have, they remove parts. Those rolls cost anywhere from 3-900 dollars and it can take about an entire roll, depending on the car, to wrap. Factor the cost of vinyl plus labor... I can see 3500 for a decent full car wrap easy... no??? |
