I am Stratified Tuned

I am extremely happy with my decision to go with Alex and Stratified. I had many small issues with boost leaks and smoking turbo caused by a bad OCC setup. It delayed the tuning process but with lots and lots of help from Alex we got it done. The car is fun safe and reliable and that's what I wanted. My questions were always answered even when I would bombard him with emails, I don't know how he puts up with us. Once I get a few things squared away in life and with the car i'll be back for an e85 tune.

Not sure I would ever run a map on my car that I couldn't audit, that's why I'm not.

I am curious how you set up your occ. How did you do the routing? I think my setup is less than ideal right now and I'm trying to find a better setup.

Valid point for someone looking to do there own tuning, that's not me, I am more than confident with the tuning ability of Lex and Stratified over my ability lol.

I have a corksport occ and went by their instructions and blocked off the lower manifold port with the supplied plug and clamp. I also didn't use clamps on the occ at first because they weren't included and the instructions didn't say it was necessary. I started getting smoking turbo symptoms shortly after and started buying bandaids like the pcv vent plug and an oil restrictor bolt for the turbo but nothing worked. Somehow it came up in email with Lex and he knew right away it wasn't creating enough vacuum thus causing the turbo to smoke.

I ended up re-doing it based on the JBR's install instructions and clamped the shit out of the hoses on the occ side. So far so good since then but the silicon hoses corksport supplied are garbage, i'll be removing it all together or going with a JBR occ, haven't decided yet.

I still have the turbo oil restrictor bolt installed along with a raised idle to 1100 and all is good.

Alex is the best, and very true on how he puts up with us. i also bombard him with tons of emails, i didnt have any mayor issues as in boost leaks but he was always very patient and explained everything i had questions about. cant wait to get my HTP 3" to get some more gains. Alex is truly the best !
