(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score My car is pretty mild and is my daily driver. I had played with the Cobb OTS maps, but was very nervous about the boost based tunes, especially since I live in the Midwest where the range of ambient temperatures is pretty broad. I was concerned with the potential for generating unsafe levels of power in sub-zero conditions and wanted to go to a load based tune, but obviously not the factory map. I first tried the S-OTS+ map from Stratified and was immediately impressed with the improvement over both stock and Cobb Maps. It was not long before I decided I needed to step up to the full tune. I ordered the tune on the website, corresponded with @Lex; about what I was looking for in my tune, and was then put in touch with Stan. Stan was very professional and knowledgeable throughout the process. He answered all my questions, and I learned a lot through the process. I wanted a tune with good drive-ability, and decent levels of power, but above all, piece of mind regarding engine safety. We found the limits for boost and timing and then made some adjustments to give me the margin I was looking for. The final tune is just stepped back a bit from the highest boost and timing targets that worked for my car, and the AFR is just a touch rich at WOT to ensure cylinder cooling. In the end some performance was left on the table, but I have solid piece of mind that the car is safe, and operating correctly. Since we found the limits, and then backed off a bit to provide the margin I wanted, I feel completely safe to romp on the car everyday, which I do The best thing about the full tune is that you get what you want and a tune that meets your unique goals. By working with the tuner to meet your goals, you gain a fuller understanding of what your car is doing, and where its limits are. I wanted more margin of safety than some people may desire, but now I know what I have and it matches my desires for my car. TL;DR: My car is quicker than it ever was on an OTS map, drives great, and I feel completely confident that the tune is safe. Stan was completely professional throughout the process. I highly recommend Stratified, and will work with them on any future changes to the car.

I should also mention, that I had a death in the family that required out of state travel, and Stan/Stratified extended my tuning time so I didn't have to sweat the lost time. Stratified is a class act all the way.
