Default SRI+Test Pipe+E85 for 307whp/357wtq?

I was looking through the Stratified dyno results page and found a 2010 MS3 that made 307whp/357wtq with only an SRI+Test Pipe+E85? That seems like very good numbers. Obviously it has internals but I was wondering since I have a very similar set up if I could expect some numbers close to this if I got a custom tune through you guys. Was this a very aggressive tune or was it mild? Thanks in advance for answering my question. Tax return is coming and I want to make sure I have everything lined up before then.

Here are my results in V dyno with a stratified flash E-tune, CS SRI/TIP, Test pipe, and front mount. This is for a Gen 1 so Gen 2 might vary but it's just a ball park reference.

Good numbers for sure. I wonder how much of your gains are actually from the E85. My other idea was getting a good 93 tune but not if im going to lose 30-40whp.

Remember this is just the 50$ flash E-tune not a full tune. I'd definitely recommend E85 if its near by.

Here's a vdyno comparison I did tracking progress, E definitely makes a difference. All temps we're close within a few degrees of each other and done at the same road same spot.

blue is ots tune before the tmic, green was the same ots with tmic added without proper tune (lost power)
yellow was 93 retune with the new tmic and red is etune after the tmic.

Running a 33-35% mix 2/1 ratio.

E85 definitely allows for more power. Of course it depends from what fuel you are starting from but as a ballpark idea it is worth 20-40whp (again depending on what fuel you start from). E85 can also offset to some degree some cooling inefficiencies such as an OEM TMIC by not being as knock prone and allowing more timing in spite of higher charge temps that would otherwise result in knock.

Have a quick look at this article as well:
