The Stratified Flash Tune (Formerly S-OTS PLUS)

I was asked on multiple occasions to set up one time tunes for people that didn't have the place or time to go through multiple logging sessions and iterations. These individuals wanted a hassle free, great performing tune that kept their car safe. This has led to the development of our Stratified Flash Tunes. Having tuned MazdaSpeeds into the thousands, we have the experience that allowed us to build one time flash tunes that have both great performance and are safe for any bolt-on K04 powered Mazda whether it's fuelled with pump gas or E85 blends.

To make this even sweeter - if you decided to go to the next level and purchase a full custom tune within 3 months of getting the the Stratified Flash Tune map adapted to your car - the FULL price of the Stratified Flash Tune would be put towards your custom tune!

So who's in? This will be available on our site to purchase by Monday.

If you are looking for more power and want an E85 Stratified Flash Tune (Formerly the E85 S-OTS+), we have this as well

Stratified MazdaSpeed / Mazda MPS E85 Flash Tune

Finally - if you also need an AP you get the Stratified Flash Tune for free with the AP V3 purchase for the price of the AP:

Awesome option!

Ireland 03-08-2014 10:35 PM

How about adding the option to make our own adjustments.

aaron88 03-08-2014 10:45 PM

Sounds good to me! I was hoping you would do this so I can run a S-OTS map with my COBB SF.

King Scumbag 03-08-2014 10:53 PM

This sounds like a fantastic idea @Lex;!

I doubt that would make business sense, but I agree that it would be nice to have the option to make a minor change (like a couple degrees more timing in a few cells- and nothing else) for a touch-up charge rather than paying for a full tune.

darthxar 03-09-2014 04:48 AM

Yeah letting people make their own adjustments would defeat the sales tool aspect of this offering. I myself would just love to be able to have the map for my intake and not throw my egr code. I'm also pretty sure once I get done with bolt ons I am going to have @Lex custom tune my car. This will be awesome in the interim.

I like this idea. I would like to be able to use a 3 inch intake with a s-ots map and delete a few cels if I had to. Have the ability to change the maf cal on the map.

natieb 03-09-2014 11:24 AM

That would be bitchin.

Should change your prices to USD instead of Canuckistan dollars on your site to avoid unfair comparisons at a glance, imo. Some people might not realize your pricing is on par with the competition.

At today's exchange rates the prices are very much on par.
250 CAD by google's exchange rate is 225 USD.

Being a Canadian business makes it difficult to deal with USD coming through paypal but I am working on a way around this.

If you get the AP from Stratified, I will throw in the S-OTS+ for free :). This is something else that will be on the site in the next little while.

ThePatient 03-11-2014 03:28 PM

I would but I already ordered it with internals from RPM with the group deal

Hope you like it and have fun! Spent the entire day updating our map database and refining these. They started rolling out today and will continue tomorrow.

BruhhWill 03-12-2014 01:29 PM

This is a magnificent idea, Alex! I want to hop on this as soon as possible. Your site currently says Sold Out, however. Any idea when these might be available again?

Thanks!

I have the original s-ots map and checked out the form on your website. To clarify, if I still have the JBR intake, but am installing a catless dp, do these new maps support that? Or are they strictly intake based? You say flow mods on your website so I am curious. Thanks.

The S-OTS maps were all revised as part of this overhaul and eventually they will be posted on the website. So the S-OTS+ maps are all new. The maps should work even with a catless setup. Worse scenario is you try the map, the boost is not in line, and the cost of the map goes towards the full tune.

There was no mention of fuel pump internals in the tuning document and this is why I sent Stg1. Please confirm the fuel pump issue via e-mail.

More maps going out tonight! Post some feedback for those that are running these.

bkemp 03-14-2014 09:28 PM

Purchased the OTS + option two days ago, received my map this morning.

Great service, as I expected given the reputation!

Haven't loaded the map yet, as my speed just awoke from a long winter of storage about 3 hours ago, and likely won't be driven until next week because we're getting another blast of -10 temps on Monday...

Will post results/logs once I get a chance to drive the thing

This is exactly the process!

Also remember guys to complete the tuning form with ALL of your modifications. We've had a few people not put in an EGR delete as a modification and then of course get an EGR code.

The maps can't be edited in ATR. You can only change the launch control and FFS settings via the COBB utility online:
