This is not meant to be a cut and dry this is what's ok thread. Its a guideline/ball park figures other people are running on stock blocks. If you blow your engine because you copyed what smeone else is running then lawls.

Its fail imo and it came on my car. From what I have read its 900 for one and at best they do a lil more up top and imo its not even noticeable.

I had the AP hooked up a few minutes before it happened, and I was seeing more than usual PT knock, but it would just come and go as if the engine was maximizing fuel mileage, few minutes later it jerked hard and the clutch pedal was vibrating hard.

so it looks like there was no way to prevent it... it was just its time.

yeah man it sucks this could not have happened at a worse time.

the miles and the power took its toll on her, now we know 160k and high boost(28-32psi) will last just not forever.

going to do rods, pistons and new bearings, hopefully total with machine will be under 3k

Stress over time on the rods weakens and they slowly deform. I don't want to bring back the S/N curve for metals but while there are some cars running around at 400+whp and especially high low end torque with a stock bottom end IMO even with the best tune you're on borrowed time. We've seen this time and again. That's not unreasonable given that's almost double factory rated hp and @dturboman here was running more than that.
