(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score THIS KIT IS UP FOR SALE DUE TO A BLOWN MOTOR! Well here it is! Its late and I am exhuasted but I will at least post some pics for your viewing pleasure. Initial impression, it hits fast and hard. I rolled onto third last night and broke my tires loose. I am extremely pleased with the fit and finish of this kit. Boost temps were within 20 degrees of ambient temps at cruising speeds. BTW total cost 775 it would be lower but having piping made in Washington is semi expensive. Any questions feel free to ask. | Whats your boost temp at WOT? I think if you hook up the killer chiller in line with this thing, you will have a serious option.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I havent been able to do some serious logs with it yet. But yesterday with temps of 60 degrees I was around 77 at cruising speeds....that dipped into the 60s under boost. The Killer Chiller is hot....just expensive....we will see come winter what I do. BTW my car is now spiking 22psi as opposed to spiking 19 with the TXS kit. Lets see how these new 103s work. |

IDRVSLO, I like the idea and professional execution of it, but I don't like the battery relocate, longer piping, core placement or extra cost of needing custom bent pipes. Are you having any problems with core movement with the solid mount to chassis when the engine end of the piping moves? Or do you have motor mount mods done?

| Not Ranked : 0 score Holy sheepshit that's cool. And for $775, did I read that right? When people are spending $1100 for FMIC? That is without a doubt the cleanest, nicest and probably most effective IC setup. What I like most about it is that it doesn't at all look "homebrewed" and hacked together. I would actually be into this if it were made a kit.

| Not Ranked : 0 score wow man that looks awsome....if you could PM some details of where you got your stuff from i would be intersted in this. Not for my speed cause it wont be track legal but for my race car i would love to do water to air. The only thing wrong with it i see is just the whole moving the battery to the back thing. You have to add a cut off switch to make it track legal which blows. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Haven't looked in a while, but when it was in the 80s-90s, I was seeing 5 below - 15 above ambient. The core I have though, is the same dimentions as the stocker, but with the cooling path going from side-side instead of top-bottom. The guy said it's good for 1150cfm @ .25psi pressure drop, which is way more than I'll ever need. (maybe ) |

| Not Ranked : 0 score I just realized that my comments could be seen as bashing what IDRVSLO has done, that is not the case. I'm just bouncing ideas off of him as he's really the only other one on here pushing to get air/water custom kits installed (ATE BALLER aside since he didn't put his together as a kit himself).

| Not Ranked : 0 score My piping's the shortest since it's stock endtanks and a bored out cold pipe ![]() And yeah, I didn't make this kit myself. A company out of Phoenix called Metal Man Fab makes it and wants $1800 for it, lol. I got my hands on the only one they ever actually made for about $700 IIRC. If you guys are mounting the tank to the chassis somewhere, I would deffinately do something with the motor mounts. I'm not too sure about the 3, but the 6 had a shit-ton of engine movement before I got all the mounts on there. With 95 duro all around though, it doesn't budge |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score No worries Bnoon its all good you were just stating the facts. In regards to the mounting. The brackets are all made out of alluminum an I devised a way to allow for the flex of the motor rotating backwards so no worries there. However I do have a solid PTP race mount that I am running along with a TRZ poly. I tested out the TRZ and have no issues. BTW I am going to start pricing stuff out tomorrow. Bare with me on this because my days are long at work....the Army can take up a great deal of my day. Thanks everyone for the comments! |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Hey guys, greetings from Australia. Great job on the W2A setup, great to see people thinking outside of the box. I am a big fan of W2A coolers and have use them on some previous rides of mine with great succes. I am real keen to make a setup for my 3 real soon and its great to be able to see other setups, will def help when the time comes for me. Sorry to hi jack the thread, buy ATE BALLER, is your setup basically the OEM top mount enclosed and made into a W2A setup? IDRVSLO, you said you brought yours as a kit for another model of car and modded to suit, i have found your actual cooler but have not been able to find a kit with the heat exchanger and pump etc.., your gear looks of good quality, the radiator is huuuge, and the pump is in fact the same as i used on my last setup (purchased 2nd hand tho..) Any help would be appreciated guys. Jason |

My heat exchanger core is 24" x 8" x 2.5" and can be found on Ebay. For the pump, I used a Ford/Bosch part found on Cobra/Lightnings and you can get those on Ebay for about $80-$90 or so. I believe IDRVSLO used the same one.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Thanks for the reply's guys, i like forums that actually provides info and not just full of keyboard warriors with an opinion on everything lol. Yeah i have found those kits etc.. on ebay now after a bit of searching. How do you find the quality of the coolers? I am a bit worried about them as the casting doesnt look real good, and the welds are a bit here n there. But im comming from using PWR and Spearco cores prev... Im only after a basic setup to do the job and fit in a small space in the bay. Are you guys running fans on your radiators? How much height clearance do we have for the radiator, i found one that is 24x14"x1", would it fit height wise under the main bar in front? Im interested in that one as it fits a 10" thermo fan. I am also going to set up a ice box, prob in the boot as thats what we done on the other cars. Have you had any issues bleeding the systems? Sorry for all the Q'S but its hard to talk to other people that havnt actually worked on this type of setup before. Thanks again. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Mine uses the stock end tanks, with a core that flows the air from back to front and the water from side to side. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score If I buy from Ebay, I try to buy from someone that actually has their own REAL LIFE storefront as well. CX Racing is an actual store/warehouse and they do OEM projects/clients as well. CXRacing If you don't buy from them, at least try to find someone that has a real life place somewhere and make sure they have a good warranty and back up their products. As for bleeding the system, I see IDRVSLO has the same/similar solution as me with a remote radiator fill cap inline with the cooler hoses. Mount it as the highest point in the system and turn the pump on and watch the bubbles escape, then top it off as it's running. No problems at all.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Awesome. I love WTA intercoolers, especially to replace a top-mount OE setup. |
