(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Since ATP is releasing kits, I'm about to jump on one soon. I've been browsing and looking here for your guys most often chosen BT. I guess since our cars have so much in common, seeing your BT results kind of mock what we could do. So how did you guys go about choosing the right BT? Any big advantage over IWG vs. EWG? I know I read here about boost creeps with the IWG on ATP kits? Think that will play over onto our platform? Guess I'm kinda looking for some discussion on what route to go....

| Not Ranked : 0 score Power goal is the first and formost choice you have to make, like helmetface said. What are you wanting the car for? Track? DD? you can slap a huge turbo on, make gobs of power, and not be able to do anything with it, or get a smaller turbo that makes decent power and still great to drive. Like you said, our platforms are fairly close, so just read through the knowlage base, and all the BT build threads.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I know tons of people with a 3071. Thing is, we don't know how that turbo is going to act attached to your motor. Your going to be a pioneer no mater the choice you make from what i have seen in the ST world.

DYNO-DATA - 2013 FOCUS ST 2.0L TURBO : atpturbo.com Apparently 3071 is 420whp/402tq which I believe is on 91 octane. I know at that level I was told they had alternate fueling as well. Plus HPFP is in development in our cars and I believe almost finished (Think kmac has one iirc?) Just trying to see if a 3071 is streetable daily I guess. I figure if I'm gonna do it I might as well do it big and do it once. I don't believe any man has ever said he has too much power lol

Got one, love it... Bigger turbos make throttle control so much easier... Don't be scared by "lag" on my of my driving I rarely hit more than about 10psi, and that's heaps for decent day-to-day acceleration ![]() Being a smaller motor, I'd consider the new gtx2867 if you can get it!

| Not Ranked : 0 score Considering that the 2867 has made 400 whp on this platform, with the st being ethanol friendly I would look into something that size, but once again it depends on your goals.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Something between a 2867 and 3071 are probably the best candidates for the 2.0 Ecoboost.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I know I love my 2867. Still quick spool, with great power band. But I wasn't looking for the highest HP possible.
