really good questions ,no tune yet just running on meth. throttle plate is closing at airflow of 27lbs/min. emailed cobb to see if there is a solution. as of for now at 13 psi it pulls great. no timing like 12 degon meth is working great for compensation . 11.8 afr

Great stuff, how much timing did the motor like before you went BT and meth? Any idea on where MBT is for that motor?

It's def faster. I'm hitting some kind of cap it's closing the throttle plate when it hit 27 lbs per min by about 5200 rpm it starts and it still pulls harder. I love the way it drives.

According to Cobb the stock tune has logic limitations so that the power level is kept wether it's 40* or 90* degree, for consistency. Could that be it, or have you already toyed with that?

Thats just like the stock SS/TC cobalts tune. Its just load based so they make the same power as stock even with bolt ons. Should be pretty easy to just change load targets / caps... assuming Cobb has access to the tables, which im betting is the issue.

I was even thinking of retrying my sct tuner, then i realized it's not that good so id be wasting my time. Cobb will be the best supporting mod ecu wise.

SCT found the throttle closing in the tables on the 2005 mustang gt when it came out when we began to tune then. We called them up and within a day, they found the table and added and off/on switch to it.

SCT should be able to find it for the ST as well as Cobb.

Ford began to do this in 2005 to limit the strain on the transmissions during gear shifts.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I've been working with Braden at cobb on my tune. He's so cool ans extremely talented. It's working out great on 13 psi so pulls hard as hell till the tb closes, because of blocks we're battling rigjt now. But for 13 psi it's insane. I love it. Thd also respons so fast with adjusting sfr my afr is the same with 16 gap per/ hr of meth on direct port or just fuel. It's compensation for fuel trim is insane.
