okay i just got the motor put together just waiting on a few things.... I am currently working on the fuel system problem now.. I figured it out and I just recevied my additional injector controller that I will be using.. It has two independent maps can control up to four inJectors. Map A can drive two low or high impedance injectors. Map B can drive two high impedance injectors. I will be having it working with the map sensor which is 3 1/2 bars. The way it will work will be in two different ways, one on high boost and one on low boost. Currently looking for the high impedance injectors and I'm about to send out the intake manifold. Here are some pix of the controller .. I am currently looking for people who are interested in helping me tune it.

Looks promising. Love the weld on injector holders, i've been looking at some of those too. They should work for what your going for. What kind of mandrel are you going to use to feed the inj's?

I think i'm gonna rig up an actual fuel rail on my setup. Don't think it'll be tooooo complicated.

Thanks man. That good if you go with it. Not to complicated its the cost of getting everthing togther.. Well snice I decided to go with the port injection system at the top of the intake manifold have to go back to the drawing board. For how i am going to run the fuel off of the high pressure or run a sparate fuel tank.. I have to see what is going to be more efficiency and try to keep the cost down...

I hate when people clog up a good thread with stupid fucking posts with no value other than to subscribe to the thread...

Go to thread tools and subscribe the right way. I don't know about anyone else, but I'd appreciate it if a mod would delete all the "subbed" posts.

Keep this shit clean

Use some 3/8th quick disconnect fittings and hook up to the factory feed line from the intank fuel pump, Id suggest running a return style system, with an inline pump otherwise youll find out very quickly how week the factory pump is without some additional help.

You could always modify the factory fuel basket for a bigger fuel pump, but that is a pain in the ass to keep the stock fuel level indicator and bigger pump. Best to just keep everything outside the tank. That and the stock regulator isn't equipt to run more than 50-60PSI so you have a set fuel pressure and when you go into boost this fuel pressure will drop anything more than 15-25psi of boost and you could start to see eratic fuel spray patterns and loss of atomization of the fuel. You need some form of rising rate fuel pressure regulator.

You should reconsider that fuel rail. If you plan to run high boost the rail isn't equipt to handle all that pressure. I had one bubble out and another which created a small leak after bubbling out with about 100 fuel PSI or so. The rails are made of stainless. But the material is very thin, Best option for something going to be pushing quite a bit of pressure it to get one of those universal rails and make one out of that to ensure proper safety.

That and the quick disconnect fittings for that rail are prone to leaking/breaking the design was never meant to handle all that pressure. Trust me I would know, hit 150psi of fuel one day on a road coarse and the line burst off during the back sweeper. Was able to maintain idle fuel pressure so I had to coast into the pit. Was not pleased.

Well sounds very interesting. I'm basically trying to run probably like between 90 to 100 psi's nothing over that.. I seen a couple of ppl who ran about 150 psi with fuel rail with no problems. It sounds like the bubble situation as caused your problem but I understand what you mean and I will take it under consideration but like I said before, I've seen ppl ran these fuel rails with no problem.

Aeromotive fittings will be your only salvation in keeping things safe then. The russell performance ones or similar designs while cheaper will not hold that type of pressure. The aeromotive fittings twice the price, have a higher pressure range from my expierence as they incorperate a diffferent design, and stronger plastic locking clip.

You run higher pressure to increase injector size.

Obviously this is a totally different setup, however, I know that on a typical PI car, FP at idle is about 43.5psi (at least on a Focus) and most guys running a return fuel setup would command a 1 psi increase in FP with every 1psi increase in boost. So someone running 30psi would still only need maybe 75psi. This was on injectors as large as 80 lbs/min, which would be more than enough as a secondary fuel system, since that setup can support 500whp by itself.

or go with and EVO rail. There are only like 50 different options out there and they are already for boosted applications.

IIRC the injector spacing is about the same as our IM. I know you already have things welded up and ready to go but this could be a plan B if things don't work out.

you can use a fuel rail off the for probe, 626 turbo and mx6 turbo.. i can get one if you need one i just have to measure the length of it to make sure it is long enough.

I was wondering your opinion of the coatings calico did? In 2004 i had them, threw rotorsports do a full coating of my 1991 RX7 build i did. I though the thing was nuke proof which it turned out to be untill i left for the army. While i was gone i asked my mother to start the car once a week. Well long story short she let my brother do it and he though it was a good idea to red line it. Now noted i did have a 10k redline with my set up. The engine lasted for a full year of that but shortly after i returned home for leave it blew under low boost at 4k partial throttle. Strong shit if you ask me!

Anyway what coatings did you get done?
