(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score My last setup was 5858, wmi, and all the supporting mods. I was putting down 470whp/425ftlbs and didnt want a glory hole in the side of my block. @ms3blackmica; has been tuning me right along and the guy is not only a good friend but a genius when it comes to tuning a car. Here are some pictures of the ringlands when we popped em out ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Here are a my compression test number prior to the build with 26k miles, 14k of which were big turbo and the last 6k was with wmi at 27psi ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() When we popped it open cylinder walls looked good so i let rakel and pablo work there magic with everything. Here are some pics of the build and compression test after fire up. ![]() ![]() ![]() I will update the thread with new compression tests periodically. The car hit the road weds night and it already has 250 miles on it. | Not Ranked : 0 score Thats what I've been wanting to do, just throw pistons and rods an call it a day, but I don't know if I have to buy all the gaskets and all the little shit since my car has only 15k miles and has good compression and everything seems fine,if I could reuse all that then ill be doing it soon,the only reason I want to do it now is so I dont end up with a vented block and having to pay way more at the end

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Son, you know how me and wot get along lol. On the bright side I'm now at 365 miles and dropping the oil again tomorrow. This is fucking torture right now. As far as pricing and parts used is concerned those questions need to be directed to @SPEEDPERF6RMANC3; And I wouldnt reccomend doing this if you're not experienced, the honing, ring gap, & cleanliness is essential. Most drop in's that have failed are due to improper installation.
