Coming soon, oh so soon, the DM TMM

Hey guys, I just wanted to make it more official, and give y'all a glimpse of what we've been working on. We are doing a transmission motor mount for the MS3, and we've been working on its development, and testing is beginning very soon.

We'll be bringing a prototype of the DM TMM to show off at ENM, possibly on a car. As well as raffling one off with our PMM and RMM at the meet(TMM will be shipped upon release).

Here's some details on the mount:
Same bushing orientation as our PMM and RMM to load the bulk of the bushing, and keep added vibes minimal.
Same bushing carrier as our PMM, which helps us keep costs down, so we can price it less.
Fully welded top and lower bases.

We'll probably call the trio of mounts "The Threesome"


We have our testers in mind, so no need to post up wanting to test it.

I'll be ordering this as soon as its released. I like how the existing transmission mount housing is removed and replaced completely. This will be super nice vs my TRZ tranny mount.

That is AWESOME!! I know since its just in development stage now it may take a little while till it comes out maybe sometime beginning end of June?? I guess it would depend on how long the testing portion needed to be. A super rough timeline would be very appreciated. Anxiously awaiting!

None ATM Once we have the prototypes for testing in our hands, y'all will know even before we put it on a car. Also, I don't expect testing to take long, so we'll have the production mounts soon after we test them. It'll be short but that's not to say it won't be thorough, we'll be putting it through it's paces and then some, before it is up for sale.

You mean, best advice ever. You never would've drunk it if you had smelt it first. Lesson learned though... I ran out of Malort, so 2 bottles next time.

Hopefully those prototypes come sooner than later i am itching to be fully mounted! I really like my Cp-e Stage 2 RMM i have now and would probably get there other mounts but i like the orientation of the bushings on your PMM more. It will be nice to have a compeditor that will have a comfortable strong TMM compared to whats out right now. This couldn't come soon enough! I am sure you probably have all your guys lined up to test them but i would be happy to join and give my 2 pennies if necessary!

I am interested in "the threesome". Happy with full CP-e mounts right now, but from what I've seen in the rmm/pmm so far, I like it very much. If the 3 of these vibes/nvh are the same/less than CP-e, with even less engine movement, I would very much interested in swapping out the CP-e's for the DM 3some.

Do you have the CP-E Stage 1 or Stage 2? Wish we lived closer together, or I'd give you a ride in my car. The Damond RMM definitely has more noise/vibes than my Stage 2 did, but I doubt the CP-E PMM is as comfortable as the DM PMM, so your car might be more comfortable overall with the damond setup, although personally I'm guessing it'll be about the same.

Coming from the CP-E Stage 2 RMM to the Damond, however, I can say there's a significant improvement in powertrain slop. Enough that I'm willing to deal with the increased noise from the DM PMM. Let's just say I've used the FFS feature of Cobb's software about 10x as much in the past month as I ever did in the whole time I owned the car beforehand. This setup is seriously solid.

I have stage 2 RMM, and 60a duro PMM/TMM. It's a comfortable ride at the moment to be completely honest, but when the ac comes on, it gets a bit annoying when sitting. I know I'm being extremely picky, especially since I'm fully mounted. I don't care how bad initial vibes are after install, more about comfort and performance in the long run.
