(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score The Damond Motorsports OCC was developed and made specifically with the Mazdaspeed platform in mind. Here are the cool features... -Fully welded external aluminum structure! Welded on ports for a nice clean look, and to keep weight at a minimum. -Layers and layers and layers of perforated baffle plates, allowing a large surface area for vapors to latch onto and keep the intake tract clean. -The bottom layer features an oil scraper. Oil is forced directly onto the scraper, while the air is pushed around the sides of the can to the back of the lower chamber, before the air is drawn up diagonally through 3 more perforated plates before it exits the top chamber. -The top and bottom ports feature welded on bungs. The bottom is ready to accept a sweet and uber easy drain valve or drain plug. Whilst the top can be integrated to the partial VTA valve set-up currently in testing. -Powder coated for enhanced durability. Like all of the current Damond Motorsports OCC kits, kits featuring our new OCC will come complete with pre-cut hoses, a check valve, mounting hardware, and all needed for an easy no hassle install. If you wish to buy just an OCC, just hose, checkvalves, or whatever, Damond Motorsports is more than willing to accommodate all your OCC needs. Anywho, enough words, here's picTURES!!! We fully intend to stock these in high quantities, to be able to supply anyone looking to place an order. Last edited by Matt@DamondMotorsports; 02-04-2015 at 07:35 PM. |

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I'm hoping to at the very least add it in the options for the shopping cart this up coming week. However, you're local, and I've always offered specials for locals... free installs, no shipping charges(cause I don't have to ship anything if you can come by), etc. Give me a call, or shoot me a text sometime: 630-639-6291 Also, here's a pic of the sweet drain valve. I'm also working to stock plenty of these for anyone with an SM OCC looking to swap out the valve. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score I've been bugging Matt for months about his new kits. As soon as I saw they were available I placed an order and today my kit arrived. The kit looks great, I appreciate the r&d that went into it and the included drain valve is quite a complement to the kit. I'm even more eager to see how the VTA valve testing pans out. Thanks, Matt.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I'm going to try and test the VTA OCC that I've been running on my 6 for forever now. I thought of a way to test it with the car not running. thehehe. From what I've heard back from my testers running the partial VTA set-up, is that it optimal for high boost/small turbo, or light boost/BT cars, to reduce crankcase pressure, and prevent the dip stick from popping. Kinda perfect for the BNR crowd. Here's a pic of the OCC in all it's glory... |

Pricing is up a tiny bit, but shipping in the US is now free!!! Prices for the MS3 start at $180 Prices for the MS6 start at $175 I'm currently out of stock on the kits, and awaiting more materials to arrive. Though by the time they do (1.5ish weeks) the site will be up and running. Directly from what I have going up on the site... The DM OCC features: -Fully welded external aluminum structure. Welded on ports for a nice clean look, and to keep weight at a minimum. -Layers and layers and layers of perforated baffle plates, allowing a large surface area for blow-by vapors to latch onto and keep the intake tract clean. The bottom layer features an oil scraper. Blow-by is forced directly onto the scraper, while the air is pushed around the sides of the can to the back of the lower chamber. The air is then drawn up diagonally through 3 more perforated plates, before it exits the top chamber. -A super easy to use high flowing drain valve(drain plug on the MS6 V1 kits). -Optional DM partial VTA valve and filter OCC set-up(recommended for high boost applications). -Powder coated for enhanced durability. The Saikou Michi OCC features: -Developed in part with Saikou Michi, specifically for the Mazdaspeed platform. -Fully welded external aluminum structure. Welded on ports for a nice clean look, and to keep weight at a minimum. -A 3 layer mesh internal baffle structure and perforated snorkle tube. -Sight tube on the side of the can, to gauge OCC contnets and know when is the optimal time for draining. I'll still be offering the SM OCCs, but they have gone up in price, due to being back ordered. I can kinda snap some pics thru the ports, and top and bottom bungs. Maybe cut one in half. The design, was actually hand drawn on paper, by yours truly. I'll find that and scan it this week.

(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score Don't know if you saw my reply in shout, but I should have the next batch of kits with the DM OCCs ready to go out early next week. I'll keep you posted with the tracking, once your order has been shipped! Sorry again for the delays, and thank you for your patience! |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Installed Ver 1 occ two weeks ago on my Pu. Is it okay to let one of the lines rest on the back of the rad fan ? Jbr and the like route one of the lines through the clutch line to prevent it touching the backside of the rad fan. just noobing.

The gen1 kits i recommend routing through the clutch line, since the can is mounted further back. You can do that as well on the gen2.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I remedied this by somewhat twisting the two hoses together right before attaching to the OCC. This helped with the extra length and to keep them both together. Don't twist too tight, really they went 360* just once I think.

| Not Ranked : 0 score I used zip ties to make brackets to hold the lines together (one zip tie around the two hoses and then one around that zip tie between the two hoses), I also used another zip tie to hold the hoses away from the fans just to be safe. EDIT: Like this

| Not Ranked : 0 score Got mine last week, looks sweet, just the mounting plate is damaged because it's in the same bag as the bolts so during transport i think it got damaged by all the shaking and so on. But it won't harm the functionality of the thing with a little less paint, so i'll get over it

| Not Ranked : 0 score I think that will do the trick, give the mounting bracket a separate bag, or fold it in bubble plastic before putting it in the same bag as the bolts.
