Unfortunately I have no $$ for BT since I spent $1500 on replacing the K04 and a further $4500 on the new engine, DP, internals and AP.

Long story. 300 for the rebuilt turbo, 200 for hardware and gaskets. Failed attempt to do it myself since transfer case is in way of oil drain bolts and this is my dd so couldn't risk lengthy down time. Shop charged 1000 to install. 1500.

I'm working right now to make that happen. I am planning on bringing lots of stuff to ENM, and raffling off an OCC kit.

Does anyone know if these smoke problems relate to 2l diesel engined mazda 6's? The problem i'm having is,the car blows a cloud of blue smoke out when started from cold since decatted.Presumably the cat had been masking a problem until now.

When i say "a cloud of blue smoke" i mean a big friggin embarassing,can be seen from the next town,cloud type.Do you think this is just overoiling of the turbo or is it more likely the seals are fcuked?

Cant hurt to try the bolt first before swapping turbo...cause you still may need it even with a new turbo..I did

Smoking again about 40k miles after the valve cover temporary fix. Just ordered bolt and f***in hope it stops the red light madness..

Starting later this upcoming week, all banjo bolts will come with 2 new replacement copper crush washers. The best part? We'll be providing them at no additional cost with the bolt.

I'll post up once I have them in stock and ready to go with the bolts!

My car started smoking at long stoplights a couple weeks ago (71k miles, stock turbo), so I decided to order one of these and install it and do an oil change at the same time. Results? I let it sit at idle for quite some time, with the AC on, and no smoke. On my commute to work this morning (~30min with lots of stop and go), no smoke. Sweet! Thanks DM!

Edit: More than a year later, and still no smoke. Again, thanks DM!
