Default Variable Swirl Sensor Switch Lever

I'm trying to fix a CEL on my stock '08 MS3. The small gray plastic lever that lives on the VTCS rod broke off and no longer activates the switch indicating the butterfly valves are closed. Mazda wants an arm and a leg to replace the entire intake manifold.

Since the VTCS is a common mod, does anyone have this lever laying around they would be willing to part with?

I know about the relay hack, but would like to keep the car as close to stock as possible.

there is, but its pretty simple. Unscrew the 2 bolts move it forward and use the rearmost bolthole in the frontmost mounting location. You'll now only have 1 bolt holding it, but thats plenty. ill look for the thread, if I find it i'll update my post.

The other option is to get an AP and just turn it off.

Edit: Found it. See post #10 .

Now what..P2006
