I have looked into a couple of these things, my local credit union van do a bank fund raiser but I don't meet the IRS tax code qualifications.... I have to be Incorporated. I'm so sorry to hear about this. I sent a little bit of money. I wish I could send more but I guess every little bit counts.

I may not have kids but one of my best friend had to go through three bone marrow transplants it was not a fun sight to see a friend go through something like that. I can't even imagine if it was to be my own child.

@Navy_Mech2;, the top supporter of the Hurricane Sandy donations, accounts for $1000 of it. I'm in awe of his generosity, and. Proud to say he is local to me, and a good friend.


The amount of people signing up on the bone marrow registry is awesome. There are a lot of things happening on the back end, I think at least a dozen people are contacting The Chive! We need to get the word out about the registry, for sure.

KCCO, and Monday will have a big update on all the donations, and possibly where we are headed.
