Hey buddy thanks for checking in. Arielle's transplant went great. We're day 88 into this journey now but back in Boston for some breathing issues. Turns out there's something going on in the lungs and today she's getting a bronchioscopy and a lung biopsy to find out what it is. Lung complications aren't entirely uncommon for transplant patients since their immune system gets wiped. She also has some pulmonary pressure on the heart due to all this which will go away when they know what to treat in the lungs. For now it's a waiting game to find out if it's viral, bacterial, fungal, or just inflammation. So more prayers are needed for now but over all it seems we beat the leukemia.

Shes doing great! This week is pretty special for her as we have finally been allowed to take her public with only limited restrictions now... so we're at the beach in Ocean City NJ! Arielle comes off full restrictions October 1st and we'll finally be allowed to have her in confined spaces (that means indoors) with other people, and around others other than immediate family. Her blood labs are perfect and we're just past 6 months post transplant! She's also off all her medicines and last week had her central line removed! Last thing that remains is the oxygen therapy which she has been receiving but she is almost off that as well. I can't believe were this close to being back to mormal!

I see October 1st was the no restrictions day! How is the family enjoying it's new found freedom!?

It's great!! Finally we can have people over and inside the house for a change as well as take her in doors when we need to go out. We went out to dinner also as a family for the first time in almost a year this past Sunday to celebrate on that note, Arielle's lab tests continue to look better and better each time she is seen which is further reassuring that Cancer is defeated. She's also off oxygen now too! Finally after 10 months she feels like a regular baby again and is catching up quickly on everything she fell behind in.

Hey buddy.. she's doing great! Her blood is still greater then 97% donor which is what the doctors want to see! This means there's nothing left of her cancerous bone marrow left and she's been growing healthily ever since! She out weighs and is bigger now then her sister was at the same age which is great. The biggest struggles now are combating the stubbornness she has developed since she was hospitalized and waited on hand and foo for, for so long. She'll Only eat certain foods and now at 2 years old that's difficult to deal with. Thanks for checking in!

hey buddy, Yep everything is STILL good with Arielle! Its amazing. We are truly blessed with her recovery. The wife and I have survivor's remorse as several children we have gotten to know have sadly passed. We are eternally grateful for every day that passes that we still have her!
