AEM Tru Boost gauge.

I have this gauge but not install. Is it something that is needed?

Are you just going to use it as a gauge or controller as well?

I have the manual. Both but looking to see if it is necessary after a tune....because I am guessing after a tune, I will just be monitoring boost. I can be wrong.

If you're tuning your car with the AEM, then you will be adjusting Boost on your end (usually set it 1 time and done) instead of the Tuner doing it in ATR.

Look at it as a very expensive 3 port, but you can change boost from inside the car if you so desire.

Justin is actually tuning. I will wait on what he have to say in email. I heard this gauge can be like a NS button. I am still studying to see how it works.

He's tuned me twice with the AEM which I've had for a few years now. All he told me to do is set the Boost to 20psi (on the k04) and he did the rest.
