(Thread Starter) |   Not Ranked : 0 score  BigTurboTune I was wondering if you guys could tune my car for me? I have a brand new motor and I am currently installing a precision 5858 on it. The car is looking like it will be done this coming Friday. I had asked a couple shops around me in So-Cal and none of them want to tune the car. I think it is because the new motor needs to be broken in before actually starting to tune it? I have heard nothing but good things about you guys and would love to have my car tuned from you. |

| Not Ranked : 0 score If the motor is new I'd break it in at least 2k miles with lots of engine braking and mid revving up to 5-5.5k rpm in part throttle (and engine brake from there). As for the tune - you will definitely need a base tune to start with, so i guess you came to the right place.
