Turn around time?

What's the normal turn around time once you get the logs back from the base tune?

It's been 5 days between my revisions. I send on Friday and normally receive an email back by Wednesday.

Based on his FB page, things have been rather chaotic recently (don't know why)

I've found it's usually it's 2-3 days, but it took him just over a week...

I paid on a Saturday, woke up Wednesday morning to a base map. Sent logs that same night and still don't have a revision yet. He's doesn't put as strict a window on completion as say stratified and this may be why but his work is to notch.

He's a busy man... that and he gets tagged in about 58 posts per day on Facebook of people asking which BOV makes the best Pssshhhh noise.

Yes, patience grasshopper. It is worth the wait. It's actually 2-3 business days! I thought it was 2-3 days, as well. The number of maps is determined by how your car reacts. Some cars dial in easier then others. 1 of my tunes took 6 maps and another took 4. Justin etuned my car for 93 oct and 30% e85. I love both maps.

It's worth the wait between maps. You can feel the changes between maps and he always answers any questions I have.

It takes a lot to work on each car individually and tune each to their max potential.

Not a lot of people out there like this. At all.

Yea looks like im experiencing the same. Gave him the wrong serial number so i emailed him back with the correct one. Prob super busy.m i was wondering what was going on until i saw this thread. Guess hes got a lot of work. Good for him

Sorry for the delay guys. Time between revision mostly depends when the logs come in. Weekends are pretty much a no go for me and tuning until summer is over. Most I can get in is an hour tops on weekends, and sometimes not even that. By mid sept, we should be cranking though and turn around for everyone will be much less time.

We try to keep tunes out of stock to maintain the work flow and faster turn arounds. But then I end up answering 50 emails asking when they will be back in stock. lol. So we are trying to accomodate every one as quickly as possible. In most cases the tunes are 100% finished well within a 30 day period.

Just wait for your 2nd revision, make sure you have tissues ready for the load you will blow when you realize how shitty your car was running before. Trust me, I am speaking from experience. Every now and then I switch back to my OST S1 tune just to blow my load once more when I go full throttle in 3rd.

I have yet to feel this 3rd gear power you all speak of. Perhaps its because I had a big turbo neon before and im running a stage 2 set up on a MS3 and im comparing the 2

thats def an unfair comparison

what you should specifically be enjoying is the fact that you are actually in a decent respectable car

obv the neon was fast, but thats not the ONLY thing the mazdaspeeds are good for. at least thats not the case for my ms6!

The tune will take you from your said "Stage 2", to feeling like "stage 10".
