Default Very Satisfied Customer

I wanted to share my experience with Freektune for those that are undecided, or don't see the value of a proper tune. I don't currently have a long laundry list of engine mods so I was hesitant to get a professional tune at first. I figured the benefit to cost ratio would be low given my lack of mods. I read everything I could on this forum and began to experiment with using the ATR. I made some decent updates to the Cobb and Corksport OTS maps. My car ran pretty good, but it seemed finiky about how I drove it. I realized I was beginning to tune beyond my knowledge and was likely going to do something detrimental to my car.

Then, I saw the introduction of the OTS+ tunes by a few different vendors and decided they were worth the lower overall investment. I read some more posts and review and decided to go with a Freektune OTS+. I ordered my tune and I emailed my mods to Justin. Less than 24 hours later I was greeted with a friendly email with a baseline map attached. The email was actually from Justin and it seemed very down to earth in it's language. Not your typical, copy and paste email body from many vendors.

I loaded the map and drove a few miles. It had less power than the map I had created, but I knew it was his baseline map. I could already tell it was better than any previous OTS map I had tried. It was stronger and, more importantly, my car was much more driveable. I was already sold on Justin's work. So much so, that I requested to upgrade to a full e-tune. I drove the required mileage. I took the requested logs and emailed them to Justin. He again replied within a very short time frame with the revised map. I loaded it and...DAMN! My car had never felt so strong yet easy to drive. I was very, very impressed.

We continued into e-tune territory. Each time I recorded my logs and sent them to Justin, he replied back promptly with a friendly email and an updated map. Every question I asked he answered like a normal, helpful person. Each map he gave me was progressively stronger and better mannered than the last. After 5 revisions, he reached the best balanced map of strength and reliability he could make given my current mod list.

My car now feels stronger and easier to drive at any pace than it ever has. I can easily putt around town all day or jump on the boost and make scenery move very quickly. I am now eager to add more upgrades for a few more horses. When I do, the only tune I will even consider will be Justin's Freektune. Period. The man deserves every ounce of praise he receives as he is a genuine guy and a true genius with the Mazdaspeed platform.

I would encourage other to share their experiences as well to help those undecided.
