How the hell to cite references in our Wiki? I can't for the life of me figure out how to do references. This wiki doesn't seem to follow the conventions I keep reading about Why aren't the ref tags <ref>LINK</ref> not working the way that I am reading everywhere? It seems like I should be able to enter <ref>LINK</ref> and get a numbered footnote marker link inline with the text and then when I enter this at the bottom: ==Notes== {{reflist}} I should see the references listed out. Any ideas? |
I think it's either an addon or requires a template to function properly. I've not looked into it yet, but go ahead and put your references in there or just cite using the short link format (which is simply [url]) at the end of or in the sentence/block of text you're referencing. Edit: @Haltech; it's a plugin/addon thingy; per: : Quote:

N00b question. How does one embed an image instead of linking to it? |
Shouldn't be embedding images that aren't uploaded to the wiki; never know when they will go down. That said, you may not have the ability to upload images...Link it here and I'll figure it out/write up instructions. |
