ENM @ MDC 2 - Beer Sharing Thread
 

Post up what all you plan on bringing even if it's a funnel and a 30pk of coors. A lot of us love some craft brew and are coming from places where craft breweries are king!

I'm planning to bring a few local Atlanta/Athens beers with me. Creature Comforts TROPICÁLIA is one of my favorites.

I'm planning on bringing copious amounts of Bold City and Veteran's Brew beers again. Maybe Engine 15 if they get their canning operation up and running.

Also Guinness.

I'll probably bring about a case worth of beer. Probably two six packs of Victory Dirtwolf (great local DIPA) and then something more compatible with the common folk.

I plan to bring Bud light, somebodies got to be different.

Did someone say fireball?

I may brew something and bring it. IPAs are
simple and quick... Otherwise it'll be Yuengling!

Does whiskey count as beer?

Sure. I forgot a distillery opened near me as well. Mules for everyone!

I'll bring some beers from southern Illinois that are only available here, @MS3johanna; will probably bring some from STL.

That's a great idea. Why don't we coordinate a beer tasting/drinking party with the weenie roast or something like that?

I can bring some Ohio stuff as long as work approves the vacation time. Great lakes brewing company, Hoppin frog, etc.

90% sure it's going to be Thursday night. I'll add the beer tasting to the main post when we do it.

I'll trade some local stuff for some Hoppin Frog, Great Lakes, Three Floyds, New Glarus.... That's stuff we can't get in TN.... I'm down to others as well.... I can offer pretty much anything from Asheville, Sweetwater, Terrapin....

I've added this to the weenie roast thursday night on the main post. MDC and NATOR TN/KY have the weenie roast covered, but would a couple of you connoisseurs of beer like to help setup and ram rod the beer tasting/sharing setup? Feel free to shoot me a pm or post back here.

I'm making a list of what the local ABC and Publix have in stock. They normally always have a full load from the breweries that have canning operations up and running.

I'll bring some stuff from the Huntsville Breweries (Blue Pants, Straight to Ale, Yellowhammer, maybe some Old Black Bear if they release anything good).

I will swill my Murica light beer whilst you snobs swish, sniff, and sip your twig n berries weird shit. That is all. :moon:

I will likely have several Atlanta beers in tow, depending on whats good/what I can get a growler of around then.. and a large amount of Dead Guy and Allagash White... and probably a scotch or bourbon.

I'll bring at 6 bomb of Founders beer and a 6 bomb of Atwater Brewing (Detroit brewery) beer. Vanilla Java Porter mother fuckers.

Is there any way you can bring some of the mosaic promise from founders? That shit is a rare gem in my neck of the woods.

Yippie! I'll mix in some Sun King then. But, the more Three Floyds the better! Oh, also, a local liquor store has an Indiana beer grab bag so, I'll get that to surprise us all! :D

Hardywood is apparently pretty good. Dont know much on the local ipa's as not really a big fan of them. I know there are a few other even smaller breweries popping up. Not to mention some of the charlottesville/harrisonvurg breweries that are on the way down.
