3.5 Bar Map Sensor Upgrade help

I was installing my new 3.5 Bar map sensor and i cut the wiring harness connector for my stock map. Then i Noticed oh shit 2 of the wires are the same color. I connected it all to the best of my ability to take a 50/50 chance on which goes where.

I decided to break out my ohm meter and trade the lines to the pcm connector, NONE of the 4 wires i can get to make a connection to the PCM connector and this is testing directly at the wiring harness wire, not the new connector so I know for sure I am making contact on the wires.

Has anyone else had any trouble testing this to make sure its wired correctly. I want to make sure its right.

I know the meter works because when i touch the two leads together it works.

we messed this up on turd's car. those damn brown wires have polarity too. if you hook them up backwards you will get a cel and crazy map readings. all you have to do to get it to go back to normal is switch those two wires.

What 3.5 bar map did you get? I was looking to get one instead of a 3 bar, but not sure if the one i found will work or not.

ss i have the same diagram from the manual, but when i try to test connection between the harness and pcm connector i cannot get an ohm/continuity reading. I tried both pcm connectors in the 3 mentioned pins.

i stuck a piece of wiring down the holes in pcm connector to make contact and its not working.

If the MAP was working properly before you cut the connector off, there has to be continuity like the diagram shows. Even with the SB wired in you would still get continuity between three of the four wires?

Is your meter working right? Your probably just not making contact in the ECM connectors.

The proper connections for your new map are...

MAP/boost air temperature sensor terminal A and PCM terminal 2AV-- sensor ground reference--this wire will also meter continuity to chassy ground
MAP/boost air temperature sensor terminal B and PCM terminal 2N-- BAT output to ECM
MAP/boost air temperature sensor terminal C and PCM terminal 2AU-- +5v from ECM to sensor
MAP/boost air temperature sensor terminal D and PCM terminal 2AG-- MAP output to ECM

well i dont know if i should even stress it so much, if its wrong simply switch them up
