Default CPE Standback install

I just got my Standback and went to wire it over the weekend.

Noticed that the wiring diagram in the instructions is backwards to my wiring harness. shows top row is pins 11-20, my harness is numbered 20-11. The colors are correct per pin # but not in the right location. Tried CPE all day with no answer.

I also noticed the instructions give me wire colors for pins 2,3,4. My harness has no wires on those pins.

Can someone with this unit please help.

^^I do soldering and splicing at work daily... so i dont mind doing the install. Im trying to find a PNP harness if its cheap since these instructions dont match the harness.

Pics:

This shows the harness. the green dot over the green wire is labeled pin 20 on the harness. The bottom row is labeled 10,9,8,...1 top 20,19,18..11

This is their diagram. It shows the bottom row pinned out in the same order as mine but shows the top row in the opposite orde.

this is a pic of the bottom row. note 3 wires are missing that it says should be their in the instructions.

UPDATE:
I spoke to someone at CPE. They said to ignore the little numbers on the plastic connector that i was looking at. As long as the wire colors match the location on the color chart in the instructions i am good to go, which they do.

Now that i know for sure mine is right im installing this weekend.

Hi, toss your standback in the trash and go with Versatune or the Accessport

Since 2010 of this thread there is better options than a piggy back device.

Personally i would sell this to get something with proven results.
Take a look at Versatune if you don't want a Cobb.

There is some other tuning device too but the above are the one with more supports and infos for speeds.
