Default Hypertech Tuning Device Review

Well I ordered this thing Monday and got it today. Its like I have an extra 1000 rpms to actually use now, and the car pulls hard as shit to redline. I logged a fourth gear pull on my stock tune right before I installed it and did a 3rd-5th pull after putting about ten miles on the hypertech tune. I will post those when I get home from work if I can get my girlfriend's vista 32 bit to load the damn thing (my 64 bit vista will not run the DH software).

I hooked it up to my laptop, installed the updater, it updated the thing in like 2 minutes with the latest rev, next I plugged her up, its easy as hell to understand a fucking retarded baby could understand the shit. It asked me if I wanted to remove the 0-60 factory restriction, I of course said yes, then it asked if I had an aftermarket cold air kit installed, I said yes and selected the Cpe Xcel from the list so it could load the correct maf calibration, then it asked if I wanted to raise the factory rev limiter or factory top speed, I didnt see the need to do either of these so I said no to those. Then it started the install, took about 1 minute and it was done. I started it up and it runs smooth as butter, idle even sounds kinda different somehow, not as clacky and shitty sounding I guess?

Third gear I can actually pull hard to 80 now... Thats a hell of a lot better than the stock tune where it dies off at 5500 rpm. 100 mph comes really fucking fast as does 120. Bottom line, if you are on stock turbo and want a simple plug and play off the shelf tune that hauls ass, this is a great alternative.

See these threads on M247 if you want to read up on their tuning technique and more info.

Here are a couple logs.

Edit: June 15th, here are a couple more logs after a month or so of running the tune, both are fifth gear logs and i didnt have enough road to run out fifth gear all the way, but i wanted to see how it held boost, and the boost looks pretty smooth to me. Pulls like a mofo even in fifth from 3500 rpm onwards. Fuel pressure still seems to be holding fine as well, doesnt dip below 1600 by more than like 5 psi or so according to my dashhawk.

Edit: July 12th, I added some more logs from after my txs catless dp install, looks like i will be needing a fuel pump next... You can see that the fuel pressure dips below 1400 right as peak boost is hit.
