(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score ive been having this issues since i got the car back after the engine build. i believe its related to the maf calibration. i have the 3.25 maf housing from cp-e and the flash for it. The Mass Air Meter flash. i already contacted cp-e about it and still waiting for there response. i had my car dynoed a week ago and the tuner told me that we were maxing out the maf. im not exactly sure how he diagnose it without looking at the maf volts. we were able to tune it out issue by using the maf & map table to add fuel to the car. i asked mark from SU about how he tuned his car via sb and he said that he was pulling a lot of fuel even on high rpms. Heres my current tune looks like also tried to lower the boost clip to 10 I showed it to mark and he said that something must be really wrong. also when we were tuning the car, seems like when it hits the target boost or when turbo spools up. afr goes lean. its like, accelerator pedal all the way to the floor then afr is like 11.5 afr and then afr will go lean for a quick sec then goes 11.5 again. it doesnt matter on what rpm you started the wot, car will do the same. another one is when i do a full throttle shift. car seems not to respond right away. its like, accelerator pedal all the way to the floor then shift. as soon as i get back to the throttle. car wont accelerate right away of the bat. its like ignoring your throttle input. it will respond after 1-3 sec. last is my ltft's are not really close to 0. its like -14to-16 at idle and -3to-7 at pt. i checked for boost leaks and there is none. also reset the ecu and cleaned the maf sensor and its still getting the same value. also checked the plugs and it looks ok. car doesnt cut on any situations stated above. probably because of the fuel cut flash. what do you guys think the issue is? im thinking maybe cp-e forgot the flash my ecu or didnt flash it right. i didnt have the chance yet to do a datalog the maf volts. is there anymore ways to tell my ecu is has been flashed?

| Not Ranked : 0 score i think most of those problems are being caused by your maf sensor not being calibrated correctly, once you get that straightened out you will be in much better shape.

Watch at 42 seconds, and how the smoke stops after the pull is finished. If it was just hot residue, then it would continue to burn after the pull.

| Not Ranked : 0 score It might be the MAF/filter assembly itself. From what you describe about sluggish response, there is turbulence generated by the sudden influx of air, and there is only about 1 inch from filter to MAF sensor, causing a lean spike aka absence of flow around the MAF sensor after dropping the hammer. A velocity stack or air straighteners might fix the problem.

I floored it around 3500rpm 2nd-3rd gear pull 3rd look at the maf readings. wtf? over 500 grams of air coming in the maf? its causing the car go lean. i already cleaned the maf 2x and still same issue what do you guys think? is it a bad maf or still the maf calibrations causing it?

Or something is horribly wrong with the intake your currently using. I guess it's possible that your maxing out a 3.25" maf, but seems kinda unlikely.
