This is a really interesting offer since this would mean about half the price of a pure, more or less "standard tune" in Germany - which doesn't include any soft- or hardware!
What about the shipping and vat/customs costs - iirc VT has a European warehouse, or would you ship from Canada?

For all EU destinations, VersaLink cables ship from Lithuania via LT Post. No VAT/Duties and they usually arrive within a few days. The software is a digital download.

And, you can't go wrong with Lex tuning either!

I already had a glance on VT. The editor functionality is not as comfortable as it is in MazdaEdit, nevertheless it offers all important features and looks more professional to me. However there's one (for me) very important thing missing: unfortunately the "load duty error comp" table (not to mix up with the load dynamics (fine) table) cannot be accessed/modified...

You should have a discount on the VersaLink too, i already have VT with tactrix openport, and spending $295 for that adapter isnt worth it

If you don't have a J2534, you can buy the VT+VL bundle. The cost of the cable in the bundle is less than a Tactrix. The current sale discounts VersaTuner and the VersaTuner+VersaLink bundle. We have seen far fewer problems with the VersaLink cables. The mini-usb connector on the Tactrix is not a very durable connection type.

In general there are 3(!) tables for boost/load error compensation (apart from any iat/atm/voltage corrections) - I attached a file containing the corresponding oem values.
Let me quote from the "Mazdaspeed AccessTuner HelpFile":
"The WG Duty Boost Error Comp. (Fine) (Boost Based), WG Duty Load Error Comp. (Course), and WG Duty Load Dynamics (Fine) (Load Based) are used to fine tune boost or torque control characteristics. These tables give the ECU authority to remove WGDC when an over boost or over load condition occurs, and add WGDC when an under boost or under load condition occurs. These tables are used to help correct boost and torque targeting values when an over boost (or over load) or under boost (or under load) condition occurs."

I remember only one "BCS DC Adjustment" table, but this was an old VT version so it might be that for the latest version all 3 relevant tables are available - can you confirm this, Steve?

All three are there now, as well as the increase and decrease limits for the BCS DC Adjustment.

@Steve@VersaTune; I'm strongly considering ditching my Accessport for the Versatuner.
There is an issue that has plagued MS6s for years including 100% BONE STOCK cars, and Cobb never figured it out.

After a quick shift, most often 2nd to 3rd, some cars get a "stutter", which turns out to be a fuel cut as discovered by @phate;. Then, the remainder of that gear runs out with improper A/F ratios. For me that is 13.5:1!!
No logged parameters are going over their limits to cause the fuel cut.

If you disconnect the clutch pedal position switch, the issue goes away. It is 100% repeatable.
None of the tables Cobb's software gives us access to is the solution.
There are tables hidden away that use the clutch pedal position switch as an input for the calculations.

Watch these videos, you can clearly hear the fuel cut.

I've just purchased the VT bundle and the tuning software exchange gave me all improvements I expected before:
- no more throttle closing due to IDC issues (after having increased the corresponding limit to 95%)
- improved and more precise logging capabilities using the VLink cable (the log measurements of my just 2 years old Tactrix cable had become inaccurate and partly unreliable)
- correct logging of boost in case of a 3 bar map sensor, especially around/above 2.55 bar

Although the editor features are far less comfortable than in MazdaEdit the above advantages are more than enough to justify this additional investment.
